Lara was receiving threatening text messages along with the attempt on her life. Did you suspect it might be separate from the Deep Throat connection?

I thought they were from the same source.

To me, there was a clear distinction between the threats which were tech-savvy and the Russian trackers. I immediately suspected Tom of being behind the threats so this solidified the disconnect for me.

I can’t put my finger on why but the text messages felt like they were coming from someone close. The Russian trackers were clumsier.

There are a lot of hints to this. Dax says something about the possibility of the tracking being more old school compared to the digital threats.
