An attempt is made on Lara’s life the same day they meet. Did you question the timing at that moment?

[Anita]

I bought the attempt on her life.

[Sharon]

I didn't question it. She is a threat to the political machine that runs D.C.

[Lauren]

Not really. She had been receiving threats so this made sense to me.

[Jonetta]

It made me question the coincidence of it happening moments after Connor showed up. I should have known that someone who knew he was coming that day had to be involved.

[Lauren]

The fact that it happened immediately after Lara met Connor made me suspect Tom even more because he knew where she would be. I must say that I didn't suspect Kiki until almost before the big reveal.

[Jonetta]

I actually suspected Tom more than Kiki.

[Anita]

I thought all along that it was someone seeking revenge for something she wrote in her blog. I thought of Kiki as a slightly jealous girlfriend, Lara was beautiful, rich, connected, smart and I just thought Kiki was envious.

[Lauren]

I ruled this out because Lara's blog is anonymous. No one aside from her parents, friends and Connor and the others knew she was the person behind it.

I was suspicious of the timing. Right when Connor showed up. I didn't think it had anything to do with her blog because outside of family, no one knew she was the author.
