So, I finished 6 chapters until now, I'll finish the two remaining ones tonight too, but... I'm really not feeling it. The writing seems too dry, I can't get behind hooting for a guy who is just an ass most of the time. Jason is supposedly 31 and he behaves like a teenager, and it is just weird reading about his antics.

I have at least warmed up to Haley (a bit) and currently she's the only saving grace for me... Let's see how it goes...

I agree! I thought it would be a tug of war between these two, it certainly seemed so from the blurb, but from chapter 3 they are like friends? Just after being enemies for 5 years? That's too quick and Jason is too dramatic, and I really don't understand his hunger for everything chocolate... he doesn't seem like a mature person, much less a teacher. Haley is good enough though I don't see many good qualities about her, she also seems to be dramatic at times, keeping up with Jason's antics....but she's still good enough. I hope the book gets better.

I hope the book gets better because otherwise, I have no idea how it has more than 4 stars rating

I have completed 16 chapters and well it doesn't get better, I like Haley but I think this whole book is about food, food any only food...I am tired of this.
I also can't understand why it's rated 4 stars.

hahahaha! I didn't get a chance to read it today but it is so difficult for me to pick up that book. Specially since the other book that I'm reading is soooo interesting...
I'm thinking I should get the audiobook for it just to push through... I'll update my thoughts here once I'm done with the next 8 chapters.

Oh! I'm reading Shipped currently. I just finished it actually! It is soooo good!!! 😍😍😍
And, it fits so many of Bingo Card boxes! Even the June Environment card, which I find to be the most difficult one, tbh.

Okay, their first kiss was so out of the blue! And soooo awkward!!
and, is it just me, or there are some serious connectivity issues? For example, after their first kiss, Haley runs back to her own house and locks the door and windows specifically so that Jason wouldn't come into her house and sweet talk her. And yet, seconds later she just feels him behind her??
