I’m really loving Nina but of course all of them are great. The reason I love Nina so much is just because she brings a lightness to the darkness in the book. She has awesome comebacks too. Love her!

Amazing and very complete review, Emary. I liked the book mainly for the characters, but my favorite is Inej. I love a good assassin, even more when it comes with a solid backstory and a well developed personality. The book in general lacked a certain something for me to give it four stars, though. And I totally agree with the banter thing. I've already read the next one, and it's even better than this one, four stars well deserved.
