I'd love to read the Stephen King book with you.

Courtney {Catching feelings for me pup?} This is gonna sound weird and maybe shocking but I never got around to reading the Harry Potter series so that's on my TBR books for this year. Am I allowed to read the series for this challenge or is that considered cheating or whatever you call it? Also, would anyone want to read the Harry Potter series with me?

If you are looking for someone to read the series with you. I am always up for that. I don't know if rereading will count for mine because I think there is something on not rereading within a year for it to count as a book, but I'll check on that. But it could count as a buddy read points and obviously your points as well :)

It will count! Last time I read them was in October which is 8 months ago and will count toward this one. I can read a book in about a day or two, so let me know how fast you would like to read these :)

Courtney {Catching feelings for me pup?} Can you do more than one book for each challenge?

message 69: by Lady Starletta (new)

Lady Starletta (ladystarletta) | 27 comments You can do as many as you can read in that month :) If you can read 20 books and review them, than they can count toward the challenge.

Katie | 3379 comments Hi Karen,

I was trying to do a 30 books in 30 days challenge this month, but I'm ahead on my reading so far (not on my reviews though! HAHAH!) and I would have time for a big book if you're still looking for one??

These are ones I was looking at starting this summer: (and there is an edition with over 600 pages)

I think I read that we can use other editions to count for the 600 page bonus, but please let me know if that's not correct. If we can't use other editions, then some of these wouldn't work.

The Crown of Gilded Bones (Blood and Ash, #3) by Jennifer L. Armentrout The Rage of Dragons (The Burning, #1) by Evan Winter Maybe You Should Talk to Someone A Therapist, Her Therapist, and Our Lives Revealed by Lori Gottlieb Betty by Tiffany McDaniel From Lukov with Love by Mariana Zapata The 5th Wave (The 5th Wave, #1) by Rick Yancey Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir Malice (The Faithful and the Fallen, #1) by John Gwynne

message 81: by Katie (new)

Katie | 3379 comments Other books I was hoping to get to this week if anyone is interested:

Dear Martin (Dear Martin, #1) by Nic Stone Ground Zero by Alan Gratz The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller The Death of Vivek Oji by Akwaeke Emezi

Hi Karen, no worries! I'll keep checking back here throughout the next day or so. I just saw you enjoyed that book as well! It was one of my favorite YA books of the year so far! I plan to purchase a copy for the school library when school starts back up!

I didn't know you were a teacher! I hope you enjoy the last part of the school year, and especially enjoy the summer! It's been a long year for sure :)

Yeah that's true! Do you have a lot of books planned for next month?

message 93: by Karen (new)

Karen Barber | 13343 comments Quite a few BRs already up that I’d like to join-Beartown, The Gilded Cage, The Maidens amongst others. Holidays start halfway through so determined to get on with ARCs on NetGalley too. How about you?

Ahh I really want the Gilded Cage, but I haven't been approved (yet, I hope)! I have a lot of ARCs to catch up on, but besides that, I don't have a lot planned! Quite some series, like the Iron King, but not a lot of books besides that :)

I've got some chuncksters to finish: 500+ pages and 2 of them are BR's. Maybe I can finish one of them.

Okay I’ll start my last book tomorrow! Is there any way that someone is planning on reading Perfect Enemies by Jill Ramsower so I can claim buddy points for it as well?😂
