Books with: Hero is unforgiving but then forgives her

There are many stories where the hero does something that hurts the heroine and for a long time she doesn't forgive him, but are there any stories where the hero is the unforgiving one? Books where the heroine messes up, does something she regrets? And for a long time the hero is angry at her but in the end, the heroine's efforts wins him over? It would be interesting to read stories with that can of plot for a change. If anyone can think of any books with that can of plot please let me know, would be appreciate it.
