When you say 30 pages, what do you mean? Like, the first 7,000 to 9,000 words?
It's like 12,000 words because I haven't double spaced my work yet
My synopsis:
After a shocking siege that upended half of the capital city and destroyed much of the nation, Marina is left orphaned and with a sultanate that needs her to be strong as the heir to the crown. However, in an even crueler twist of fate, on the day of Heir Appointment, it is not her, but her younger, unqualified half-sister who is declared Sultana-Apparent, and as if things weren’t already hard enough as is, she finds herself marked with the sigil of the goddess of death, Rivana, who hasn’t been seen in heaven in a hundred years. As a practicing priestess herself, Marina is dragged into the mysteries of the goddesses, all while trying to mount a coup against her sister, reclaim the throne her parents had prepared her for all her life, and guard her heart from her charming best friend and advisor, Baraz.
