Welcome to the team Kellie! For me, today was a slow reading day. But I did manage to finish a book that was not on my original plan for the week. (Cheers to Eternity: Lessons We've Learned on Dating and Marriage). I put it down as a short book (101 pages...barely qualifies for the prompt.) Hopefully, I will find more time to read tomorrow. I am making progress on both Martin the Warrior and A Star Rising.
Alyana wrote: "Hi all, I wasn't able to listen much the past couple of days, my daughter was sick."I hope your daughter feels better. Good Luck!
Joan wrote: "Would a devil count for a fantastical creature? Looking where else to slot Horns."I think it would count in my opinion.
I would count it.I got a lot of audio time in this weekend, and managed to sit down with my Kindle for a couple of hours yesterday too.

And today it works on any and all browsers, especially Chrome which is my default! LOL

Chrome was probably not in the mood the other day LOL
Nancy wrote: "We're almost done with our first Brigantine and our first Sloop! Way to go ladies!"Yaayy!! :D
Happy Monday! When I opened the spreadsheet this morning I was impressed with all the completed books listed! YAY US! 😝✨✨🎇🎇✨✨On Saturday I finished
Mrs. Pollifax and the Hong Kong Buddha and counted it for "A book with a mostly green cover" in the Brigantine category. It would also fulfill "A book featuring a thief" in the Galleon category, as well as many others, in case it needs to be shifted by either captain. :)I didn't have as much reading time yesterday as I had hoped, but should finally finish Sharks in the Time of Saviors tonight (Not super-impressed with this one thus far...) and make more progress on The Secret Garden and How to Be an Antiracist.
I guess you can see that I am what I term an "eclectic reader"!
Kellie Lyn wrote: "Happy Sunday all, I was just added to the group. Sorry for the late start. I did finish a book this morning (One for the Money) and have another to finish tonight ([book:Two for the Dou..."I love the Stephanie Plum series! What a great opportunity to read those!

Nothing wrong with that. 😁
Happy Monday everyone. I ended up having a family thing yesterday so I didn't get as much reading in as I was hoping. But today is another day. I just wish the weather had been better for the long weekend because I really would have loved to spend my time outside reading. but oh well.
It happens Kendra. But I think we are all doing great, most of the prompts are done.Go go go team! ☺️
Since we've completed our first brigantine (woot woot!), I'm thinking we should remove the grey from those rows and start over.
Nancy wrote: "Since we've completed our first brigantine (woot woot!), I'm thinking we should remove the grey from those rows and start over."I'm okay with that. What do you think everyone? :)
That sounds like a good idea on removing the gray. Hopefully, I will get a few books finished tomorrow or Wednesday.
Can I ask why my book was moved from the prompt about having gold on the cover to the prompt about "A book whose first letter of the title appears in DAVY JONES' LOCKER"? As far as I understand that prompt, it does not fit. The book is The Woman Who Would Be King: Hatshepsut's Rise to Power in Ancient Egypt by Kara Cooney

As far as I understand tha..."Hi Emma, I apologize, I misunderstood the prompt, I thought it was the author's initials appears in DAVY JONES' LOCKER. My bad! Thank you for clarifying.
Nancy wrote: "Since we've completed our first brigantine (woot woot!), I'm thinking we should remove the grey from those rows and start over."Or maybe we could just pick a different colour for a second round on each prompt.
Finished Two for the Dough. I had never read any of the Stephanie Plum series but I am loving it but I have to move on.(I will be back though) I put it on the Galleons: Book featuring a thief (stolen military arms) I am starting Cold Cold Heart and hope to finish tomorrow. I have listed it on the plans sheet.
I changed all the colours in the spreadsheet so the prompts that have been done once are grey, twice purple and then I switched it so there's only 1 shade of yellow, 1 shade of green and 1 shade of red (It was bothering me).

Hey all! Hope Monday went well for all of you. I just finished Martin the Warrior this evening. I put it under a book with a weapon on the cover. I also made significant progress on A Star Rising.
Well I finished 1 book today: Lawbreaking Ladies: 50 Tales of Daring, Defiant, and Dangerous Women from History. It actually had a whole section on pirates. I used it for the short book for the schooner.
I only got to read 32 pages yesterday. Things just keep popping up. I'm really hoping to finish Horns tonight. You all are doing awesome!

We're doing great, Team! I hope to finish listening to Seventeenth Summer later today. I've also started Pierre and Luce, which is exactly 100 pages.
Alyana wrote: "Hi all, I wasn't able to listen much the past couple of days, my daughter was sick."Ugh. I trust she has recovered or is well on the way... 🤗
Alyana wrote: "Finished my other book, The Kite Runner. Updated on ss."What did you think of that one?

Interesting that it is exactly 100 pages! I added it to my TBR. Looks interesting!
