Song of Achilles: Chapter 9 to Chapter 16

Hello everyone!! How do you feel about the book now that you have read chapters 9 to 16? Who is your favorite character??

I ended at the part where they are sailing to war and I can already tell this is going to get sooo emotional. I think my favorite character is Patroclus because he just seems to have such a big heart and has so much love for Achilles.
Throughout reading these chapters in particular, I felt there was strong foreshadowing on trust especially with Odysseus. I could be wrong lol but just my main though during those chapters!

One character I am not too fond of is Thetis, why does she have to be so rude?? Putting her son in the situation to sleep with and get the kings daughter pregnant and then make him dress up as a girl to hind his identity?!! ugh..

I completely agree! I wonder if Thetis is mean because she is bitter or depressed about the prophecy of achilles. Who knows!! Patroclus always is finding his way to be with Achilles warms me heart. I love both those characters. This book is addicting and I can’t wait to see what happens next :)
