A word of caution, though. Amazon may remove reviews that look like they were traded, or so I've heard from others. Some review swapping groups have even altered their practices to avoid "you read mine and I'll read yours" arrangements. Some of them now ask members to review books by others who have not reviewed their books.

That's why Amazon created this site so authors can comment on and review each other's work.

J. Evans | 5 comments Hi Ashleigh,

I just published my new Middle Grade Fantasy, What Magic Is Not, on Amazon. It is available on Kindle Unlimited. (The link is below.)

What Magic Is Not

This is a cheerful, quirky story about a class of young students who attend summer school in an enchanted forest with the eccentric Professor Philonius Gnut. Full of wonder, humor, and heartwarming friendships, this book is perfect for kids of all ages (and older kids-at-heart.)

Summer school in the Enchanted Forest is just like you would imagine it: chasing frogs (that are not really frogs), making new friends (with trolls), and learning what magic is (and more importantly, what magic is not.)

I know you have already gotten a bunch of requests on this topic, but if you do find the time to check my book out, I would look forward to hearing your thoughts.

Thanks, and happy reading!

~J. Evans

Ghada Elgazzar | 3 comments Hello, this is a long shot because mine isn't exactly short but I'm struggling with promoting it and not doing good at all. It's a fantasy adventure with all the enchanted creatures, werewolves, vamps, fairies, elves and mundanes, all wrapped up together and crossing each others path. I hope you would get a chance to give it a look https://t.co/xtpooCyAHo?amp=1 thank you.

Full disclosure: I wouldn’t have picked this out if it was the last book on the planet that I hadn’t read yet. Yes, I pride myself on being willing to read anything, but this title and this author in no way are appealing to me. Now that I’ve let you all know that, I can also let you know that I sincerely disliked this book. DNF

Thanks so much for your offer!

I recently published a quick-read fantasy that's on KU. Here's what reviewers are saying:

"A rebel rabbit turns the world of predators and prey on its head in this debut fantasy. An entertaining, imaginative post-apocalyptic scenario with special appeal for animal lovers." -Kirkus

"Great for fans of: Richard Adams’s Watership Down, David Petersen’s Mouse Guard." -BookLife

My book isn't on KU, but I can send you a free ebook if you're interested. It's an action-packed romantic fantasy. It releases in February, but I'm trying to build reviews on GR.

Look forward to hearing back. If you want more information, check out my website. I'm also giving away the first 3 chapters. www.cassiesanchez.com

Helen Moore (goodreadscomhellish1) | 1 comments Bolting the Furies ON KU is a post apocalyptic dystopian low-tech science fiction fantasy. That's a mouthful. It deserves more reviews than I've been able to get for it, because I'm a daft old tech-phobic boomer author. Bolting the Furies I'd love for you to review it. Thanks.

Simon Wright | 5 comments Hi,

My fantasy, Daughters of Legacy, may not be quite short enough for what you have offered but I’d appreciate it if you could take a look. It has a group of strong female protagonists and is an epic adventure that also explores family bonds, nurture versus nature, and prophecy over free will. All set amidst some brutal action and unexpected story twists.

It can be found here;

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08D8N6HF...

And the blurb;

∞ I’m not much for prophecies and curses; we need to kill this monster so that my family are out of danger. Are you with me? ∞

The legendary hero, Rork Fimarr, has finally succumbed to age. Survived by his four dysfunctional daughters, his Daughters of Legacy, the women find themselves drawn together to mourn his passing.

The powerful necromancer, Ramikain, ancient nemesis of Rork the legend, resurfaces in the dark lands to the North, twisting the land, the animals upon it and even the minds of men with his foul influence.

The world of Primedia is no longer as they once knew it, and its future lies in the hands of the Fimarr sisters. Farmer, child, prostitute and assassin must reunite to battle the darkness of their father’s past.

How much can the sisters endure together with their fragile family bonds? And will they be able to put aside their differences to stand as one and face their destiny?

It is part one of a trilogy but is more than readable as a standalone as well.

Much appreciated if you get the time!
