I love the characters so much especially Rovan she is a takes nothing from no one tells it show it is MC I also love her romance with Lydea I also can see what can happen with Ivrilos later in the story it is all very interesting. The plot is so good more things have happened Rovan is very rebellious and is super interesting some shocking things have happened Rovan has found out she is betrothed to that POS Prince he Father shows up tries to kill the King and it killed himself Rovan understandably has a breakdown about it the plot is moving along pretty quickly I also love learning more about Ivrilos he is so interesting. 77%(view spoiler)[ I love this book so much everything about it is amazing from the romance to everything else in between. I still love the characters especially Rovan,Lydea and Ivrilos I loved the romance between them the faster paced romance with Lydea and the slower paced romance with Ivrilos that was well worth getting to the point it is at now. I loved the plot the story moved on to other things happening an the group looking for a way to leave only for Rovan to find out her Mother is dead and for her to snap try to kill the king to only find out he can't die and for Rovan to be stabbed in the heart Ivrilos ends up saving her making her basically living dead after that Rovan and Ivrilos get together and do the deed and are caught by Japha that was very awkward looking forward to reading more. 100(view spoiler)[This is one of the best books I have read this year there is nothing I didn't like about this book. The characters are amazing a well written villain an amazing MC Rovan a couple of great love interests Ivrilos and Lydea who are so much more than that and a great best friend in Japha. I loved how the romance of the story ended up it was so very romantic a wonderfully all consuming love that transcends death. I loved the plot after Rovan is turned into a revenant some things are discussed they all go to end the king one dies and they all fight with everything they have to finally end all of this other characters come back and there is an happy ending I just loved this book so much.
