Gretchen I don't really have the time to read this book, plus I don't think I would really get that into it. So someone explain it to me in a nutshell. I keep seeing previews on the Today Show and everyone is so excited for this movie, why? I see a homely looking girl and a guy that reminds me on Norman Bates. Is there a romance in this book, a love story?

Shiannna yes there is a lot of romance in this book its like a submissive and domain book

Ilana that's such a bad way to equate this - as normal bates. FSOG was written as fan-fiction to Twilight so the intention of the characters are for Christian to resemble Edward and Ana to resemble Bella.

There's romance, a successful emotionally trapped guy who's got his own specific taste (BDSM) and Ana - a naive girl trying to find herself at the end of college/getting a job. Their romance is where this story goes. in book it's pretty hot and heavy. in the movie - we'll have to wait and see.

Romance and SEX! and a very controlling sexy man behind the hole thing. Actually there's a lot of girl drama too "Does he want to change me?""I dont know if I can be what he wants" etc etc.
It was an entertaining read, speed through it like crazy, very fast pace. The movie looks promising I will watch it for sure.

LOL! I'm going to see that trailer in a VERY different light now. But yeah, I don't know.

Michelle °O° I actually loved these books. It was my first time reading a book like this. Blushed alot and skimmed through some of those scenes, but overall it is a great love story.
