Ze | 5 comments I have not seen anyone talking about this manslaughter here, I don’t if people are uncomfortable or is it something no one wants to discuss ? However it is unavoidable.

All through out our education carriers we have questioned how things such as the Atlantic slave trade slavery, the holocaust and the South African apartheid could have even occurred.... Today we are witnessing the genocide and ethnic cleansing of people. It’s all over the media, a platform YOU spend 85% of your time on. It’s no secret.

And unlike those previous events, today we can do a lot from our homes! Through our screens!

Jim Vuksic | 362 comments If history has taught us anything, it is that territorial disputes or conflicting religious beliefs often lead to war. Combine the two and war is all but inevitable.

Anyone who did not foresee an inevitable and potentially never-ending conflict between Palestine and Israel either was not a student of history or chose to ignore it.

Today we are witnessing a terrorist organization, ruling Gaza, shooting thousands of rockets at Israeli population and Israeli army hitting back at them to make them stop, trying to minimize as much as possible loss among civilian population.

Agree about a territorial dispute, but not about conflicting religious beliefs. Yeah, I guess no one is surprised. I hope it won't be never-ending, but who knows.

The Crusades, the war between England & Spain against France during Henry VIII's reign, and the conquest of the native populations in South America, Central America, Mexico, and the western/southwestern territories of North America, are just a few of the best documented examples of wars waged in the name of religion.

This “war” has been wagging since 1948, the year the Israel’s took the Palestinian lands, killed innocent people and more, this all has been going on for decades, it's not about whether we saw it coming or not, it's about the illegal and injustice that is taking place.
The Israel’s are bombing innocent people, this conflict has long before escalated from a religion case to ethnic cleansing and genocide.
They have been bombing long before Hamas ever existed, killing innocent people long before the bombs that are now been thrown at them

Both sides have casualties, innocent people, I’m not anti-sematic, i advocate for peace for both sides

"Innocent people" wouldn't try to shoot rockets at me, packing them in as big salvos as possible in order to penetrate the iron dome. I hope as many terrorists as possible are neutralized before the ceasefire to restore the deterrence.

Yeah, yeah, of course, you are not

You are letting your prejudice and hate cloud your judgement
I’m just laying facts down
This is injustice, a massacre, check the news…bombing hospitals? Apartments? Covid 19 testing centers? killing people while they are praying?
The Israel’s do not represent the Jewish community
Not with their inhuman actions
Hundreds of Jewish around the world are right now protesting to what the Israel’s are doing to defenseless people
Whether you see it or not, Palestinians are the oppressed.
Against the Israel’s they are almost hopeless,
they have nothing compared to Israel’s multimillion military equipment

When someone stands against a certain group, doesn’t mean I’m against the whole religion….that is naïve

My only prejudice is that I'm the one under the rocket fire and I want the armed forces to remove this threat.
I hate no one, moreover I have Arab/Palestinian friends and clients.
If Palestinians are oppressed it's out of recurrent choices of their leadership. I regret the fate of innocent people that need to live with the consequences.
This round again - no one forced hamas to attack Israel. They operate from an urban area, endanger uninvolved on their side, aim at civilian areas - on the other side, and ultimately put Gaza and its infrastructure in the harm's way. Completely out of choice.
