While Glenn pursued acting in New York, Jessie started hearing voices and ended up in Montana on a path of self-destruction. The sisters grew distant. Jessie Close, author and advocate. She is the author of Resilience: Two Sisters and a Story of Mental Illness and The Warping of Al. She writes a regular blog for BringChange2Mind.org, an organization created by her sister, actress Glenn Close.

Glenn Close, actress. She has appeared in numerous plays and films, including "Albert Nobbs," "Fatal Attraction," "101 Dalmatians," "The Big Chill," and "The Natural." Her acting awards include the Emmy, Golden Globe and Tony Awards, as well as six Academy Award nominations.

Pete Earley, author of thirteen books. His best-seller: Crazy: A Father's Search Through America's Mental Health Madness, was a finalist for a Pulitzer Prize in 2007. He is a former Washington Post reporter. He is the father of an adult son diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
