I shared a poem recited by Playon Patrick, 2020 Quarantine Killings back in June of 2020 - taken from audio of that presentation. I have since found a written copy of the poem that more accurately transcribes it. I would like to delete the first quote I shared and replace it with the most recent version that I have posted. Thank you.
P.S. I have since noticed that I misspelled "diaspora" in the most recent version of the poem that I posted. In addition, one section should read "We have never known city, never known comfort, never known safe street in any city." Also, in spite of being recited "Working in the field make you realize", I believe the author meant to say "Working in the field makes you realize". If this can be corrected I would appreciate it.
