Could I get Educating Rita approved?...... the hardback at 123p has the exact same number of ratings (3484) as the paperback at 96 pages. But right now, the paperback is the first book that comes up.

But right now, the paperback is t..."hmmmm...that's what I did...and sorted by # of ratings and the two editions you show come in that order...but both show 3484 ratings on my computer....and I'm sure when I added this in my plan I had the hard back version come up first.
I guess it's back to the drawing board.
What shows at the top of the book page for ratings is the total number of ratings for all editions.
oh......and where do I find the # of rating s for the individual edition?
ahhh...never mind...I found it...under the rating details for the individual edition.

Has anyone read The Glass Hotel
? The book’s page says setting in Canada and the description says the hotel is on the northern tip of Vancouver Island but in describing plot mentions Manhattan and also a ship.

I am reading Marie Antoinette: The Last Queen of France, and i was wondering whether it could fit here: it is mostly set in Versailles, which is "too small" as it only has 84k inhabitants, but it is part of the greater Paris area: what do you think ?

But the rules state that with very large cities you can include the greater metropolitan area. It seems Versailles would comply with this part of the "how to play".
Q about the bonuses. If you read 5 continents, do you get 100 or do you get 150 (for meeting the 3/4 bonus as well)?

Although Barrytown is a fictional neighborhood, it is set in a real city. This is somewhat of a stretch, but we'll allow it as Dublin.

Just realized that the The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency series is set in Gaborone, Botswana, with a 2011 population of over 200,000.
I am having a struggle and need some insight, Elizabeth…I finished a lovely book which is set in a hospital in Glasgow. They never leave the hospital for the duration of the book, but one patient tells the other stories of her life which occur outside of Glasgow and those stories account for more than 25% of the book…
so will it fit (since she’s sitting in a hospital in Glasgow while relating her stories) or not (since many of her stories—and therefore many pages—happen outside Glasgow)?

It's Glasgow through and through. It's like those books that take place in one day though the characters tell stories that take place over the years.

I listened to Liberation Movements by Olen Steinhauer as audiobook and there was quite a bit in Istanbul although it seemed like mostly in Moscow but I can’t tell if it was 75%. Can anyone help me there?

Several reviews say it takes place in an unnamed country, others that it switches between several locations.
Can you use it for page count? (304 pages)
I don’t know of unnamed country. Since it spefically names Istanbul, Prague and the Soviet Union.In fact it starts with an agent being on a plane flying to Istanbul that crashes and the airport at Istanbul where the people awaiting the arrival having different conversations. It has names several Soviet cities that characters visit or call or where they lived formerly.
I’ve completed the first round of page count and now trying to finish the second round of RtM. I guess I can start another page count but I won’t get much further
Is the 100 pt completion bonus only for the first time completed or do every time completed? Just completed second round

It’s too bad the task couldn’t have been in the Spring! I lived there and actually went to nursing school there but we’d all joke that island might sink because of all the festivals that happened that doubled the population. Spring Break, Mardi Gras and the Blessing of the Shrimp Fleet. I usually would try to plan to be off the island during Spring Break though!
