Richard Rennie | 186 comments Does anyone have a definitive go to to find out the dimensions of some book? Like I find a lot of marvel hardcover pre 2010 on amazon just says 1x1x1 . Case in point “marvel 1985”. Or like jason Aaron southern bastards book 1 Hc on amazon is 10.5 height, where as book 2 is 11 - is book 1 really just 10.5 or just listed wrong - I always wonder . Does anyone have like THE SITE to figure that stuff out on?

Amazon is usually the first place I look as a lot of sites don't have dimensions listed for their books. Amazon is usually (but not always) correct. For DC and Marvel their typical cover price points for their standard HCs are cheaper than the oversized volumes so that is another thing I look at.

I want to say the Southern Bastard hardcovers are standard sized? I feel like I remember people talking about those when the first volume was released and the creative team commented they didn't feel the art needed to be oversized.

Richard Rennie | 186 comments Yeah amazon is my go to , and price point helps, was just hoping their would be a deeper site somewhere lol. Sometimes I feel like I’ll spend 20-30 min on just 1 book trying to figure it’s dimensions. Sometimes I have to go to eBay. ... and find a sale image with it next to other hardcovers that I do know the dimension off lol ...
