Jett is an intelligent guy who values people's opinions, though he won't hesitate to tell them that they're wrong. He's a creative and independent individual who usually prefers to keep to a close knit group of one to two friends. Even though Jett does love reading and writing, he can't ever seem to sit still, so instead of studying while sitting down, he usually comes up with ways to learn while doing different activities. Sometimes if other Ravenclaws are having trouble as well, he'll help them out. He's quick thinking, he always knows when to use a witty comeback. Jett is also surprisingly wise about a wide range of different things, even things most people think he doesn't know about. While with people he enjoys, he's a very kind and laid back kind of person who is rather calm unless heated. He doesn't really care for participating in sports, but he does like to watch them. Jett hopes that one day, he'll be able to be on a chocolate frog for his inventions of spells, charms, potions, and others.
Jett Morningstarr was born to Madeline and Asher Morningstarr. His father was a Pureblood wizard with a large status in the Wizarding World while his mother was a Muggleborn witch with very little social status. Both were very talented magic users with lots of ideas to improve the Wizarding World as they knew it.
For the first few short years of his life, Jett was raised by very loving parents who wanted to give him a great childhood. But at the age of three, Madeline and Asher were trying to get a new Magical Law passed to allow magical creatures such as goblins, centaurs, werewolves, and other creatures freedom. Freedom like wizards and witches had. Apparently lots of highly ranked wizards and witches didn't like this idea, so they sent people to murder the Morningstarr family. The hitmen sent to kill the family, ending up killing only the mother and father. They were unable to find the child, who Madeline and Asher hide with Madeline's younger sister, Ruby in the Muggle world.
Jett never ended up with Ruby, his mother's younger sister. Instead he was found on the side of the road and he was taken to a local orphanage. There he lived for over four years. It was terrible, Jett was allows getting bullied by terrible Muggles who thought he was a freak. When in realty, he was a wizard that wasn't were he belonged.
At the age of seven, he was visited by a professor from Hogwarts, though he doesn't remember which one it was. The professor told him about Hogwarts and the Wizarding World. And after the professor left the orphanage, Jett became obsessed with learning everything he could find about the world he belonged in.
At the age of nine, he created a charm called 'Pathfinder'. So, he could always find his way home. And then at the age of ten, he found out how to become an Animagus.
Finally, at the age of eleven, Jett was visited again from a professor from Hogwarts. And he was brought to buy his supplies for school by himself since he denied the help the professor had offered him.
Once at Hogwarts, Jett was sat on a stool to be sorted. His sorting time was probably one the longest in history, lasting over ten minutes. The Sorting Hat was confused of where to put him. But finally the Hat chose to put him in Ravenclaw, a House where he did great in. Jett didn't make may friends during his first few years of school but he did create plenty of new things.
