I am looking forward to this! Thanks for putting it together. And I love the checklist. I do have a quick question. If I have already read the book should I go ahead and check it off on the list? Thanks and I look forward to discussing books with you all.

Thank you! Go ahead and check it off, or replace it with a book from the same genre you would like to read this summer. It's up to you, personally, I'm reading the whole list (they're all unread for me).

What a fabulous idea and very inspiring! You've motivated me to do a similar book list. Best of luck and best of luck. 30 books over the summer is quite a feat!

Thanks! It sure is, but I want to keep myself busy this summer and these have all been on my to-read for quite a while! Wish me luck!

I will try to read a few along with the group, but I'm not very faithful to these kinds of group efforts. But we'll see how it goes.
I appreciate the invite Heba. I'm definitely up for joining in on Mexican Gothic and This Is How You Lose the Time War, both of which I already own but haven't yet read. I may enjoy checking out some of the other titles as well. Here's to a good summer!

No problem! And, yeah, it would be awesome to read together and chat about books! Good luck and have a great summer!

I loved it and would probably read it again with the group, depending on my schedule.
Hey, I'll be joining in for the BR of Eight Perfect Murders, The 7 1/2 Murders of Evelyn Hardcastle (I already said this before) and The Vanishing Half. Might join for This Is How You Lose A Time War.
I'm wondering if this whole group is defunct as no one--including the originator--comments anymore. So it lasted maybe a month?? I'm the only person who has commented in a month and even I'm not remaining true to the list (way too much YA and other choices I know I won't like). I guess I'll stop commenting too.

I understand. I recently got a job and it's been kicking my ass and I haven't had much time for reading but I think you should keep posting in the group about what you read as you make your way down the list, it's up to you

I'll post on the books I read that are on the list (I've inserted my own substitutes for books I won't like).

You can access the full reading list as a google spreadsheet using THIS LINK. (When prompted to make a copy, click 'yes, make a copy')
The reading order of the books will be based on Genre, in alphabetical order. by order of books. So first, we will read a Fantasy book (perhaps, Fable), and then a Historical book, and then Horror, Literary, so on so forth. And when we reach YA, the cycle starts all over again, except this time we will read Circe, because Fable was already read before. And we will read like this until all 30 books are done! (The full list is in the link above, or specifically in each topic titled by Genre).
Happy reading!
