Just started: I skipped the many many pages of names, but the introduction to the names pronunciation has me intrigued! :P the weiting in chapter one is also very interesting in ots oldness!

Chapters 1-9 (view spoiler)[I’m feeling very lost right now and have no idea what’s really going on. I feel like it could be interesting, but hasn’t really picked up yet. Also I hate that I can’t make the audiobook go past 3x speed because it’s super slow and it feels dragged out, but that’s more of a complaint with Libby than the book itself. (hide spoiler)]

Sorry, I cannot relate - the fastest I had ever listened to a book was 1.7 and I felt like I was mentally running to catch up to the narration the whole time! :P

However... I am enjoying this so much! :P Maia is so nice and he's just trying to do his best in this stifled formal environment he doesn't know, with all these rules... I am really enjoying walking with him through every little pace. :) (hide spoiler)]

Part 3 (view spoiler)[So I get everything with his cousin. I understand why he can’t have him there, but glad that he didn’t do what his father did. Also I switched to the ebook and now every time they say “Serenity” I’m just picturing it in my head the way they say it in the audiobook ☠️ (hide spoiler)]
