Personally I LOVE her books but hate her. She does not support everyone. A lot of people found comfort in her books. Some of those are trans youth.

No I don’t like her, BUT I love her books SO much.
I have been angry with her since she wrote adult books while a wake of young readers, myself included, just wanted to read "whatever J.K. Rowling writes." Then after seeing how she tarnished my beloved Harry with Cursed Child and Crimes of Grindelwald, I walked away completely, long before her comments towards the transgender community were spoken. 😔
In the words of my husband "Opinions are like buttholes... everyone has one and they all stink." We all have acquaintances, friends, and even family that we do not agree with. Just because I did not agree with what JK had to say, does not mean I do not like her as a person. I don't even know the woman, I just love her writing (ALL OF IT) and I see things about her in the media, but I have never met her, and I probably never will. Just like a relative, I don't stop loving them because I do not agree or like what they have to say. I am a middle aged adult, and I have seen many things, and lived through times that by today's standards were barbaric. I know that many people are not as open-minded as others would want them to be. It is only an opinion after all, one that many people, whether famous or not, have.
I love her books, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. We as humans will never agree on anything if the other doesn’t find it fitting to their liking 🤷🏻♀️ we can’t all think alike otherwise the world would be perfectly boring. if I say hey I like her I’d be lying not because of what she said but because I just simply love the HP books.

Aside from her obvious money grabbing schemes with Cursed Child and the Fantastic Beasts franchise, there were certain things she said that rubbed me the wrong way even before this summer. I think I realized how little she cares about representation or even the feelings of her base with this tweet about religion in the wizard world. I know a lot of people see it as inclusive but I just see it as pandering. Same thing with the whole "Dumbledore is gay but I refuse to acknowledge this in Fantastic Beasts" thing
Thanks, Celia! I too was really surprised and disappointed by her comments.
When Fantastic Beasts came out, I thought for sure that an Obscurus was symbolic; it is described as a dark form of magic that suddenly bursts out, created by a child who suppresses his/her magic. At the time, I thought it would foreshadow someone having to suppress his/her identity, in one way or another. Instead, we were given a "grand reveal" that Credence is actually a long-lost Dumbledore. -_-
No but I still love the books. I didn't like her anyway since I found out about the Ron worthy comment & the CC.

It is her opinion but it is wrong so I dont support it. But I love her books sooooooo much and I like Jk rowling for making harry potter but not for her opinion on the trangender community

She definitely could have done that instead of whatever she came up with to ruin a lot of things.
