Swimming Home - Background/General (no spoilers)

Deborah Levy is a British novelist and playwright who has been shortlisted for the Booker twice, firstly for this book and also for Hot Milk. Her most recent novel The Man Who Saw Everything was also longlisted. Her books are generally short but dense, packed with visual imagery and quirky characters, with plot subtleties that can seem dazzling on a first reading. I enjoyed rereading Swimming Home, and it could be a very interesting discussion if we can get enough participants.
