KEY QUOTE:

WHY HI?

In the hyper-partisan and tribal public square, the force with which beliefs are expressed seems to matter even more than the facts and their basis in science…the partisan perspective too often overpowers or outshouts the science in matters that have actual impact on our lives

KEY QUESTIONS IN DISCUISSION:

1) What relationship would you like to deepen and expand? (Level 2 to Level 3?)
2) How can HI incorporate competition as well as cooperation?
3) Sincere curiosity seems to be the basis of HI. How does one develop that so that it is not manipulative? (Refer to difference with Diagnostic, Confrontive, and Process Inquiry)
4) Are there instances where HI is not as effective?
5) I am interested in how Humble Inquiry would look in other cultures. For example in a high power distance country, would this work?
