I finished my reread a few days ago. It's not as action packed as books I typically love are, but for some reason this is one of my favorites. I love learning the politics of the world.

I'm finished with the book and seem to be in the minority with a 3 star rating. Perhaps expectation came into play, but for a book that was 100% focused on character and court politics, the actual politicking was really simple. I wanted more substance. The main character was totally delightful to read about and I can see why some of you have referred to it as a "feel good" novel. Overall, I'm glad I read it. I probably wont be picking up the next one though.
