Mockingjay question

I actually pretty much hated it. The ending was rushed and totally unfulfilling. It should have ended like Allegiant did and vice versa... just saying. If the Hunger Games were this bad I wouldn't have kept reading...

Personally, I thought Mockingjay was the best of the series. The writing was amazing and the story line was dramatic and action packed. It is so filled with emotion, you would just have to read for yourself to see how great it is. The book does make you feel very sad at some parts though, so be prepared for that.

i agree that it was a good finale to the series - but, i don't know that i'd agree that it's the BEST. i really enjoyed the first one since there was really great set up for the story overall as well as the characters that we were going to be invested in for the entire series.

what i thought was done really well in the finale though are the various scenarios and scenes that we're put in. i think that a lot of it was expected yet a lot of it was really out of the box and we're taken to the capital and to other places like District 13 that no one knew existed and no one really had a full sense of what it would mean for society. that's creativity for sure though.

I really enjoyed it, though I do agree with Tyler about the end being rushed. Even though I'd like to change a lot about the last part of the book and flesh it out like it truly deserves, the entire story still kept me intrigued from first to last page. I read it in one sitting - I couldn't put it down. So yes, I'd say it's good. Not perfect, but really, really good.

I thought this was by far the worst book in the series. I sped read most of it. Katniss was so annoying, more annoying than usual that is.

Eh, it was okay. Not nearly as good as the first two books, but it wasn't terrible.

I liked the book, most people think it's bland and boring though. I would recommend it, if you really loved the other two, like me. Then, you'll enjoy it.
