April 2021 Reading Sprint Hour 1

Reading slowly, as I'm not used to being up at this hour. 40 pages of The Borgia Bride

I was hoping to start with something new but I'm still trying to get through my zoom book club pick for later today. This morning will be trying to finished In the Woods by Tana French. I've read it before but for sure need a refresher.

I listened to 38 pages of The Vanishing Half for my first hour. Great to be here with you all!

flipped my coin, read for the 60 minute sprint and ate my breakfast. I can hear you all now......Diet Coke for breakfast??!! Well, not a coffee drinker and have to get caffeine from somewhere, right? I had so much fun choosing books, audiobooks and snacks. I'm a newbie!!

Unfortunately, had to skip hour one because I didn't finish all the chores I planned to do before Readathon (it starts at 2 p.m. in Croatia) and I wanted to feel relaxed while reading.

I got 36 pages read in The Curse of the House of Foskett

I didn’t get started til 9:00 and by 10:00 my first book fizzled out and has gone to the discard pile. On to #2!

Spent the hour listening to Fearless. I had about 80% of this book done last night, so I expect to finish today. Military scifi written by a retired naval guy.

I was all excited for to start the R-a-T with a Sprint and then fell asleep in my chair after only 10 minutes! lol! Those 10 minutes I spent reading I Was Told It Would Get Easier by Abbi Waxman

When will the next reading sprint occur? I feel like I'm missing them. :(
