"I'm in Advanced flaming, but I still have to come to this class." she added.
"Hey, thanks for the show off behavior, none of us need that," Cal snapped.
Kiran stuck up her nose, "Sure, I was just wondering if you'd like to ask me questions on how hard or what you needed to review, but guess you don't."
((once our principal filled in as sub.))
"No, why would I ask questions? I already know I need work on my powers. You were bullying people earlier and I'm not going to get any help from a bully "
Ailena walks in, holding papers, "Hello, I am Principal Aercal. Ms Lopez is sick, so I'm filling in. Here, take your papers. They will automatically add questions depending on how well or bad you are answering. Those who have already taken the test may sit and watch."

"Who started the school, who was the first fire ever...things like that." Kiran replied quietly, so Cal didn't hear.

Cal stared at the principal, hatred rising up inside her. "May I take it too?" She asked, struggling to keep ahold of her agitation.
"Thanks," Cal mumbled. She wrote her name atop the paper, took a deep breath, and looked down at the questions. Some of them she knew, but others she had no idea on--she hadn't exactly been the most educated growing up due to her situations.
When she finally finished, she handed the paper to the principal. "I'm done."
She graded it, gave it back. It said 18/20. "Good job." she whispered.
Cal's eyes widened. "Thank you," she replied in an equally quiet--and shocked--voice. She took the paper and looked at the two she had gotten wrong, then nodded. Maybe she did more slightly more than she had thought.
Caledonia wanted to turn around and smirk at Kiran, but as the principal was here, she didn't.
"Ok, class. Study Hall for the rest of class time. Just stay quiet, do homework...Whatever." Principal Aercal said.
"Yes, both of you are." Ailena said, graciously.
Caledonia stared. "What?" She shook her head. "I-I, ma'am I appreciate it, but...but how...my powers are a bit...I need help controlling my anger, and with that comes my powers when I'm angry...how can I be advanced?"
You just got two wrong, what, do you want to stay in 101?"
"Well, no, but..." She shrugged. "I guess I just feel like maybe I should be in both for now. Or I just work on my temper," she admitted.

((that's fair. I think the issue is that she hates bullies, so she'll lose her temper, and she can also be rude because she doesn't trust adults and sometimes other people, but if there's someone being bullied or hurt, she'll stand up for them? and has low self esteem because she's been hurt before))
((I'm sorry, that sounds rough--for me I have the low self esteem and a bad temper and I know what it's like to be bullied, and I can be rash and yell at people, but like...idk I don't distrust most adults so that's different))
((still--I'm sorry it happened, you know? People can be jerks and you didn't deserve that. And thanks; I've found out over the past few years that a lot of insecurity issues came from it and comparing myself lol))

((Thanks--I never really think about It like that. And they probably felt bad about themselves, too, which...is unfortunate but also...idk. I feel like if everyone started lifting each other up and schools were better support systems things would be better))

((that's horrible I'm so so sorry that happened. The worst with me was mainly cruel words and occasionally maybe someone kind of ignoring me and pretending I wasn't there, it never got that physical. I'm so sorry))

Caledonia nodded, even though she hadn't asked the question.
"Please stay quiet." Ailena said.
Caledonia placed her head on her desk and rolled her eyes at the principal.
