This is the start of the first chapter
She couldn't breathe, she was looking at the kingdom of thieves, deceit, a kingdom of secrets. It was goddam beautiful. She oughtn't to get attached, she could not afford to get attached. Peacemakers never get attached, they do their job, make peace, sometimes it was easy, sometimes with murder.
"Welcome to the Kingdom Miss" a man muttered as she glided by, he noticed her badge sowed into her side and shot her a filthy glare.

Already not off to a great start, she really should've thought of wearing something that didn't have the badge. She walked to a different market, a shady market, she would be able to scope information from there. And maybe get a top that didn't tell the people that she was about to uproot their kingdom.
