She folded her arms over her body, pulling the knitted cardigan tighter around her as though it was acting as her defence mechanism. “Do you know how rude it is to eavesdrop into a conversation that’s private? You had no right to do that. I’ve never done anything wrong to you.” Then before Abby knew what was happening, Sam was stepping forward towards her into her personal bubble, cupping her face in his hands as his mouth collided with hers in one of the most pulsating kisses she had ever experienced. No man had ever come this close to making her feel this way before. If she closed her eyes, she could practically see stars and fireworks. She could feel his tongue seeking entry into her mouth and it could have been just as easy to deny him access but a part of her didn’t want him to stop. Kissing Sam was mind-blowing. His kiss was amazingly good. And she liked it a lot. Her tongue fought back against his, their kiss continuing for a little while longer until Abby came to her senses, realising they were standing in a cemetery together. Her first though when she pulled away from Sam was she had to get home. Abby had the urge to ask him why he would kiss her right now but she was uncertain of the answer he might give her. Did he kiss her because he likes her? Or was it just foe the hell of it because Sam thought that she was a lot of fun and kissing her might be a nice way to end his time in Sydney? Abby didn’t give him a chance to talk. She skipped away, knowing she had to get away from him as fast as she could, hailing a taxi and then going home. All the while knowing this kiss with Sam was different to those she had before him.
