Sarah | 124 comments The entries for this book are very confused.

I have the 1997 Sigler Press edition:
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

It is clearly titled "A Trumpet in Darkness: Preaching to Mourners" (or leave off the second part, but anyway, the first part is not anything except "A Trumpet in Darkness", exactly like that).

The original edition, published in 1985, is on Amazon here:
http://www.amazon.com/Trumpet-Darknes...
(This could stand to be added as an edition).

It is clearly NOT titled "Trumpet in Darkness" or "Trumpet in the Darkness". I don't know what "Op" means, since I can't find any evidence of a 1998 Augsburg Fortress edition.

If anyone cares to try to sort this out, go for it. (I tried to sign up to be a librarian so I would not have to make these weird specialized requests, but I have not heard back and there are rumors that maybe they don't want an ymore?)

But mostly, my (1997) edition should have this cover (my scan):

And the title should be fixed. Because that's weird.

Sarah | 124 comments Oh, and it isn't a Mass Market Paperback. I'm sure it was only ever published in the one size at a time, and it's definitely a standard or trade paperback, not a mass market.

Renske | 12350 comments The title of the original book was changed by an automatic import with some incorrect data. I edited the title and added the covers to both editions.

Sarah | 124 comments Thanks! Good catch!

Is this one supposed to be the original edition?
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

If so, the publication date should also be corrected to 1985. (Which makes a lot more sense than assuming there's some third edition out there.)

Renske | 12350 comments The date was also changed by the same import. Reverted those changes.
