Simon looks into the stables before entering, he was relieved to see that no stable hands were there it would make things very awkward if one of them bowed to him. He walks in with Bella “Well here we are,” he says a tinge of nervousness in his voice

Bella walks in behind him, careful this time to hold her dress up, but once again kicks off her shoes. They wouldnt do for riding. "Any favorites?" She asks shyly

He walks down to the last stall, inside was a black mare with redish brown main and tail and a whit half moon on its head. “This one her name is Moon,” he says and runs his hand down her face gently, the horse nays softly shaking her head.

Bella coos softly and walks over to the mare. She reches out slowly and runs her hand down her withers. "Shes beautiful." She breathes

Simon smiles “Yeah she’s been my favorite since I was a kid,” he says scratching behind her ear, “I always wanted to learn to ride but I never really had the time,” he says

Bella smiles, widly and gentally grabs his arm and Moon's lead rope. "Follow me!" She walks outside to the out door corral, after saddling moon

Simon follows, he glances around again to make sure that there weren’t any stable hands “So uhh where do we start?” He asks looking at the horse a little nervously

Bella smiles. "Im sure you have seen it done before, but im going to show you how I ride." She Walks over to the side of the horse, letting her see her, then carfully places her right foot into the surrup and mounts. "Thats what we will start with."

He nods “Ok,” he says. He mounted his own horse mirroring what Bella had done, Moon flicked her ears but didn’t move.

Bella snickers softly as she watches him do it. He mounted on the wrong side of the horse. "No no," She says, holding back laughter. "Dismount and mount on the other side. Always mount on the right side."

Simon blew a stray strand of out of his face his cheeks turning a little red “I’m seriously starting to regret this,” he says with an exasperated smile

Bella lets out the laugh she was holding him, and guides the horse to trot circles around him. "Come onnn." She draws out, speaking to him coming easyer and easyer as she got more conferable with him.

Simon smiles and shakes his head, he knew a little about ridding horses he knew how to get them to trot, he made a quiet clicking sound and urged her forward with the reigns Moon starts to walk forward, she was obviously very well trained.

Bella nods. "Good good. Now to guide her, you pull the reigns which way you want her to go." Bella deminstrates, pulling her horse into a circle

Simon nods and doves as instructed “Well this isn’t as hard as I was expecting,” he says, and pats Moons neck fondly

Bella laughs. "Thats just the basics." Bella gentally digs her heels in her horse's side and clicks, making her horse gallop

Simon watches then does the same as her, Moon gallops flowing Bellas horse “Good girl Moon,” he says to her. “So when did you learn to ride horses?” He asks

"When i was really young. My mum taught me." Bella says softly, then looks down sadly. After a minute she looks back up. "I think you are ready to go out into the feild."

He could see that she was sad and managed to get Moon to walk next to Bellas horse “If you don’t mind me asking, what happened to your mother?” He asks

Bella advoids his eyes and doesnt anwser, riding further ahead. She shakes her head as tears threatedn to poor out of her eyes.

Simon follows keeping close but still staying slightly behind her. He didn’t know what to say so he stayed quiet and tried to give her a little space

"My mum died when i was little." She finnally says, breaking the silence. She sighs, as if the weight of the world rested on her shoulders

Simon made a clicking noise so that he and Moon were next to Bella “I...I’m sorry to hear that,” he says his eyes dark with sadness for her loss

Simon didn’t know what to say he could tell that she was hurting and he wanted to make her feel better but he didnt really know how, so he remained silent

Bella sighs, then looks up, forcing a smile. "So tell me some about you." She says softly

Simon sighs “uh well there’s really not much to tell my parents sent me away to a boarding school that mainly taught swordsmanship and stuff,” he says “And I have a brother and two sisters,” he says all the while leaving out the part that he was a prince and his brother would be the future king

I’m thinking the reason she doesn’t know who he is is becuase he was at the school for most of his life so not many people know what he looks like))

dang it he thought “Well I guess but I warned you,” he says. He knew he would have to tell her the truth at some point and the more he got to know her the more he hated lying to her but he didn’t want her to start treating him differently everyone always acted strange after they learned he was a prince.

Simon looked at her, she looked beautiful with her bright blue eyes and blond hair. “I....” he was torn between wanting to tell her the truth and wanting to have just a few more minutes of feeling like a normal person

Bella furrows her brows. "Okay..." Just as she turns her horse around to head back, a stable hand runs up and stops in front of Simon. "Your majesty," He bends over panting.

Simon curses almost falling off of his horse in supplies at the stable hand. Simon waves the boy away “No need for that,” he says, he was scarred to look at Bella he took a deep breath and looked over at her he didn’t know what to say, this hadn’t been the way he had wanted her to find out.

Bella stares at him, when she first heard the stable hand say that, she thought that he was mistaken, but after Simons reaction. She knew it was no accedent. "You- I-" Bella stares at him

Simon opens his mouth then closes it not sure what to say, “I-I’m sorry i didn’t tell you,” he says “abut usually when people see that I’m a prince they tend to...act weird around me,” he says, he knew that that was a terrible excuse but it was the only one he could come up with
