Scott Wilcox presents himself as Everly’s gay friend. When, if ever, did you begin to suspect him of being something different?

He just seemed a bit slippery to me

Right up to the point that he is revealed, I wasn't sure if he was in the story as a red herring or if he was really involved.

Me too Lynn. I didn't know how to take him. Was he involved or a distraction for the readers. I could see the story going both ways.

Slippery is a great word to describe him, Charlene!

There was always something just a little off about him. When he asked Everly if she’d slept with Maddox, I started suspecting him of something. He was supposed to be her friend and would have known it couldn’t be true and defended her. He became part of the rumor mill. But I became convinced of his betrayal when he tried to get her to leave Gabe’s and come to his apartment.

But, like you two, I questioned whether he was a red herring or a red flag up to that point.

I'm afraid this one got by me. I didn't pay much attention to him and only suspected him when he called Everly with the nonsense about Gabe plotting against her.

I agree with Lauren. I missed Scott as a baddie until he called her about Gabe. I totally bought the gay friend

I continued to believe he was gay until he said he made that up.

I'm with Anita and Lauren. I didn't pay that close attention to him. Bought that he was gay. But did wonder about his friendship with Val. Starting questioning if he truly could be her friend.

I didn't pay attention to him either. I believed he was gay also.
