BTS also introduced me but Stray Kids and a few other groups made me continue listening to K-Pop and I also don't listen to Western music much anymore! Same!

Which group/idol introduced you to K-Pop? I was actually introduced to BTS in 2020 by one of my friends, the interesting thing is that despite searching them up I didn't understand what a band meant and since my friend was obsessed with them she kept telling me about them and then I started HATING them (so regretting it) and then in september my friend told me about blackpink, i told her i hate them cuz I knew they were BTS related but eventually I saw the members and listened to their songs and started stanning them.
Extra: In the early 2022, I started stanning some girl groups as they kept popping up on my FYP. I was introduced to Stray Kids around that time and also listened to their song 'Maniac' but did not stand them because I thought they had bad songs which people complain about. (I never listened to Maniac with concentration) In 2023 June, we all know that the album 5-STAR was released with the leading track S-CLASS right? I started listening to S-CLASS with low expectations and I thought there's too much rap and background music so I was neutral about them, later in July, somewhat short came up with S-CLASS pre-chorus voice mix, I heard that and started loving the whole song. Albeit, S-CLASS did not get me into SKZ, it was Back Door because I just loved the insane bgd music. So Officially I became a STAY on 19th July..... and an Enegene on 9th October. I'm not a MOA but i love TXT

Hi, I'm Chelsea and I'm 25. I first got introduced to KPOP in 2020 during the covid lockdown by fan made videos of BTS showing up on my YouTube and Tik Tok accounts. And since then I have fallen in love with them and become ARMY. My bias is Namjoon with Suga as my bias wrecker. But Jimin is always in the background. I mostly watch and listen to BTS content but also like other KPOP bands and solo artists. My current favourite songs are mic drop, butter, idol, fire, permission to dance and run by BTS, left and right by seventeen, bouncy by ateez, queencard by gidle, I love my body by hwasa and gum by Jessi.
