This thread has served its purpose: announcing this change, and bringing it to the attention of our Goodreads Librarians.

As most of the recent posts appear to either be book-specific or to misunderstand the announcement, I am closing this thread. I have also removed several posts which attacked other users, or which were off-topic.

For requests that are specific to a record (or multiple records), please start a new thread. If you have additional concerns about this policy change, you are welcome to use the Contact link to let us know. However, please read our clarification first.
