I am working my way through this series about the historical blind judge Sir John Fielding and his fictional assistant, teenaged Jeremy Proctor. There is a lot of wonderful detail from the time and many interesting characters, including some actual historical figures. The mysteries are complex and Jeremy is an engaging narrator.
