It may not as vocal or popular as before, but it still happens. Not in a direct way, but indirect

Lets talk about the direct way they are denied choice

Abortion rights is a very popular movement.
According to wikipedia~

Abortion-rights movements, also referred to as pro-choice movements, advocate for services including elective abortion. This movement puts forth efforts to establish a right for women to freely make the choice to have an abortion without the discrimination based on their decision. 

If abortion is illegal and unsafe, women are forced to carry unwanted pregnancies or suffer serious health consequences that can even lead to death. And due to lack of safe abortion options, it is calculated at least 13 women die in India every day
Feminists around the world fight for abortion rights. It is one of the most popular and controversial topics around the world.
So by denying a women abortion rights, you are possibly endangering the women's life and health.

Feminism to me is something special. I believe it will give me a world where a woman can live her life the way she chooses to without being confined to something. Confined to gender roles.

Feminism is not about hating on other woman, or hating men. It about choice. As simple as that.

It is where a woman's decision to be a housewife or to work or to do both is respected and appreciated. Ultimately, its about her happiness and choice.

Or it is just as I read somewhere.
"Feminism is the idea that a woman's choice is more important than a man's feelings"
