How whenever there is an assault case, it's very rare when people believe them or even if they get justice because the court is always in favour of the man who had assaulted the women
Did you hear about the 21 y/o boy in iit kharagpur (ig. I don't remember the name) who raped a 19 year old girl and got released just because he was a smart and talented boy as he was an IITIAN.
All of these are going straight to my speech.
And the whole 9th grade is gonna be in the meeting. Let the guys in my class hear these injustices. They are so FREAKING MISOGYNISTIC AAHHHHHHHH
How guys are never called out for anything, and everyone automatically takes the mentality 'boys will be boys' whereas girls have an ongoing pressure to be perfect all the time?Also, does it have to be academic specific or just general?

So basically my parents sent me to buy anything and the road was quite and dark (usually like that till I reach the ‘main road’) and there was an auto coming behind me and oh my gosh I was so scared I was about to cry on spot and I actually went rlly slow as the road steep (I was on cycle) and autos usually cross cycles I thought something would happen to me but luckily the man had a passenger and finally passed me.And y’all have the audacity to say not all men. I agree. Not all men. But the fear of men applies to ALL men. I have a right to be wary of something that terrifies me.

Yess this is so true!! I've heard many stories of girls being unfairly punished and not they boys BeCaUsE tHeY aRe BoYs.

MY NOOK IS FOR FEMINISM SO I DNT MIND
So here's what happened to me:In my coaching there's this batch where only top 25 students from the entire class study. So I was the only girl who cleared for it and you know what I heard afterwards? Girls can't study, she might have cheated, girls are bad at this and girls are bad at that. You don't even know how I spent almost 2 years in that batch. And I couldn't even tell my parents about it because I was so embarassed
And you know what? Teacher's favorite punishment for the boys sas to make them sit with me
YESSS like i saw this survey where women were asked at what ages they noticed sexual advances towards them. And 60% said 12 years and it was the same for mee
My teacher literally excused a 14 yr old boy for sexually objectifying me as boys will be boys.
ANd rape. It is fucking disgusting how people just excuse it. Like a judge i remember pardoned a guy who raped a girl because he was under the influence of alcohol while blaming the girl for being drunk
And I've heard this thing where people are like "Oh she's soemone's sister or mother" as an attempt to stop abuse. But no, i dont agree with that
Respecting women whom you know alone isn't "respecting women". Before a sister, mother, she is a HUMAN BEING WITH EMOTIONS. ANd be it a small girl, old lady, orphan or prostitute if she wants to be left alone, leave her alone

i am totally agreeing with what you guys are saying you should make a group about this
ok so I might sound rude but I am not trying to be rude.a goodreads group can't stop men doing what they want. we talk, we discuss but that won't bring awareness to anyone because if you don't know something like this happened a few days ago when some people in some other group denied that feminism exist, that girls aren't the only one suffering.

Im doing a speech on injustices we face in the society as women in my school infront of my Principal and Vice Principal (online). So I want it to represent the struggle to be every woman's. So help me and write the injustice in the comments. I wanna make the my Principal (who is highly misogynistic) uncomfortable with these struggles and make her realise how unfair our society is.
