Michelle (koshkalady) | 10 comments Published around 2000-2010 through Ellora's Cave Publishing. The title/series has the name of the alien planet or people in it and begins with an "A" I think. The aliens are warriors that use swords & their evolution & development his developed special abilities like recognizing their genetically perfect partner after they touch the first time I believe a static charge or something is felt. The dimensional/space travel device brings them to a rural, wooded mountain area where the heroine is staying, at a cabin she co-owns with her brother, after finding her boyfriend in bed with her best friend. She is in the military. When they take her back through the space travel machine their mothers, also mates found by their fathers on other planets, take her to be prepared for the joining. Part of the preparation involves bathing tub that is like a small pool & they use a device that instantly removes all body hair except for the head. Their are wild, rogue males also on the planet who end up stealing woman to force themselves on. When she goes back to earth to see her brother and help setup treaty with our world the military pretend to agree in order to get their technology. Not sure if this was all in the first book or in next 1 or 2. I know that a sister of one of the aliens is captured on earth or something and the brother of the woman is found to be genetically advanced enough to train with the aliens as an earth representative.
