What makes this a series? Do the books have characters in common?(Bumping after two days is okay :))

That does not make it a series by Goodreads definition, which is different than other sites. However, I can see in the descriptions that they are in the same universe so that counts. I added the descriptions and created the series.
Could you please combine these two books into a series? Thank you!
