One of our group members brought this subject to my attention and I thought it was important enough to warrant it's own thread lol.
Okay, so I'm sure everyone knows that when you first log on to Goodreads there is the recent updates page. This is where you can see what your friends on have been reading and commenting on.
If there are people posting comments in a Spoiler Thread here in this group, that can ALSO be seen by everyone you are friends with. So people might end up reading about details in a book that they still haven't read yet.
To fix this problem, Shannon has kindly pointed out that if you are posting a comment in a spoiler thread, please unclick the box that says "Add to my Update Feed". This will ensure that only people who want to read spoilers will read them and it won't ruin someone's reading experience.
In case you don't know, this box is located at the bottom right of the comment box. It is right above the box for "Email me when people reply".
Thanks so much for posting this! I'm pretty sure I had something spoiled in Succubus Heat by a friend. : ( I haven't finished the book yet so I don't know if what I read was conjecture or not, but either way it was kind of upsetting!
