Brent (argyrosfenix) | 47 comments Hello,

The Author has created a series of second editions that we believe should have their own series outside of their first edition's series. TIA!

No, they would be in the same series as the other editions.

Brent (argyrosfenix) | 47 comments Question: Can't books be part of multiple series?

They can, but that would not apply here. That applies in cases where two series have a cross-over book, or where one series is a sub-series of another larger series.

Not when book have edited/revised editions. Note: A series on Goodreads applies to all editions of a work. And edited/revised editions of books on Goodreads are each combined into a single work with the original editions.

Brent (argyrosfenix) | 47 comments Is there any way to see the series with the different editions showing? That would work perfectly for our needs.

Miriam | 1831 comments Do you mean have the new editions show on the series page?

For that the author would need to set the new editions as the defaults (only the author can set that, librarians can not):

Brent (argyrosfenix) | 47 comments I was hoping there was a way to have a link for each. One with the first edition and one with the new Author’s edition.

Sorry, that is not possible.
