Is it possible that the girl was pregnant?
Hi! Nope, definitely not pregnant. I did just remember that when she leaves the Amish community and the Amish H goes after her he spends time on her computer looking up ways to pleasure her.
Sorry, then I don't know the book. The plot was very similar to a book I read, but the girl was pregnant. Hope you'll find out which book it was!

Looking for a full length New Adult / Adult Romance Novel set in an Amish community.
I read this book at least ten years ago (2011), but it is possible/likely that it was published before then.
The heroine is on the run from an abusive ex-partner (maybe an abusive father? But I'm pretty sure it's an abusive ex-boyfriend). The beginning of the book is about her escape. She reaches a small town and sees that she's been followed, so she hides in the back of a horse drawn wagon. The wagon leaves the town and the driver, an Amish man, discovers her hiding. He offers her sanctuary with his wife and children.
In the community there are those who accept her and those who don't. She meets the Hero shortly after her arrival. He is single, young, and a little bit of a loner, but he is still well-liked by the community.
She slowly adapts to Amish life and eventually is brought before the community elders to petition to remain in the community. I remember that part of this scene has the elders speaking in German, which they presume she can't understand, but she does.
Eventually she leaves the community (I can't remember why) and the Hero leaves as well to bring her back. HEA.
