Roberta Biallas (bobbiebiallas) | 48 comments While I'm normally not one for a Private Detective 'quasi-noir' novel, I really enjoyed 'The Suicide Murders.' The plot was what got me. Engel does a very good job with weaving his storyline. I mean, I thought that one person was responsible for all of the murders and didn't get until the very last chapter that she wasn't.

I do like a book that has a good 'Gotcha!' at the end!

I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed it. It's not deep by any means but I have found the series entertaining and peopled with interesting, likable characters.
