There were things that I liked and didn't like about this book. Honestly, I was ready for it to be over, although there were some good attributes. The world setting and the "Noise" was a unique idea, and since I listened to the audio, I think that enhanced the story some. There were some great notions being addressed throughout the story, but the delivery was just too slow for me. I was kind of disappointed with it ending on a cliffhanger and after having learned that this is book one in a series, I may just have to settle for the Cliff Notes version.

It was a unique idea but it was too dragged out to long that it almost got lost. I was extremely disappointed and frustrated by the cliffhanger ending. I had made it through all this book to given that ending? I will probably do the same and pick up the Cliff Notes to find out how the series ends.
