Although I have benefited from her framework of moving from “survival mode” to a “healing journey,” is the book consistent with the latest knowledge in psychology, in the sociology of stigma and the need for sharply different approaches to reach diverse communities, in neuroscience, and in the advisability of her #selfhealing movement? Respectful and informed responses only, please. This discussion question is for empiricists who want to understand the book in terms of the state-of-the-knowledge across any/all relevant social and biological sciences.
