It is set in the same universe as The Shadow and Bone trilogy but you don’t have to have read those before reading the Six of Crows duology.

I was actually planning on reading both series. But if this is a group read I will definitely participate with this first.

Is anybody reading this? I started it today, a little late. It is a little confusing at first, telling a lot of things we know nothing about. And I already struggle to believe that these are 17 years olds.

They only have the Dutch version and I really want to read it in English but if it takes much longer, that’s what I’ll probably do.

That's also why I can't use my library; they have nothing in English.

I so agree! NOwadays I also feel like giving 0.25 points (like 3.75 stars). I liked this one better than the Shadow and bone..much more complex.
