Pre-Reading thoughts for Once and Future Witches

Hi everyone, The Once and Future Witches is the book for April- June 2021!

Here's the place to put your pre-reading thoughts. Are you excited? Curious? Dreading it? Dubious?

Really excited for this one, it's been on my radar screen for a while. I just requested it from the library in both ebook and paper formats, we'll see which comes in first!

I had not heard of this until the suggestion thread, so I have few expectations. There is a bird on the cover, so that's promising. My hope would be for something a little like Strange & Norrell, I guess. Libby thinks I will find out in seven weeks.

I requested it from the library. It should be in quite soon as there are copies available in a number of libraries in the system. I know nothing about it and had not heard of it. Looking forward to going in blind. I have not even read a synopsis.

I'm looking forward to this one - I hadn't heard of it and don't know anything about the author, which is what I like going into a book club read. :) There's not a huge wait at the library, but since my reading speed has slowed so much this year, it might be June by the time I finish! :)

I'm on a 13 week wait for my library haha. I might grab it from the physical library, or see if my friend's library has a shorter wait once I'm caught up on my current library books.

I'm excited though, I liked Ten Thousand Doors of January a lot.

I just looked and I already have it on my Kindle. I think I bought this one on an Amazon eBook sale on the strength of word of mouth. I'm looking forward to it!

i've actually read this one (in the first half of February), and some of the details are still sticking with me, so i'll be reading the discussion parts along with everyone, and i'll see if i can add anything :)
