The 1st Law of making a habit work is to Make it Obvious. On page 96 there is a chart that breaks down each of the actionable steps described in that first part. I'd like each of us to consider a habit that we want to start making into a system and apply it to each step.

I'll go first!

1.1 - My habits scorecard is kept in the habit tracker of my Hobonichi. The habit that I'd like to to work on (yoga or meditation) is nowhere near as active as I'd like it to be...

1.2 - My implementation intention: "I will meditate or practice yoga in my room (or outdoors if it's nice) at 9:30 a.m."

1.3 - My habit stacking: After doing yoga or meditating, I will take Mika to the park."

1.4 - How I've designed my environment: I moved my yoga mat right next to my bed. Every night I will download and have a Headspace meditation ready or a yoga video picked out for the morning. I will also make sure to include 30 min of time for it in my Hobonichi.
