I seem to be having old reviews just disappearing

So, I write pretty extensive (and long) reviews of anthologies (because I feel they are an underappreciated form that gets short shrift review wise) and I often refer back to them when posting a new review if a book has the same story as an older anthology I've already reviewed.

But just recently, I've gone to the book page (often, through the "review" link on my "Read" shelf) to find the whole review missing! Sometimes, there are even "likes" or "comments", proving that it was once there! I've considered using the archive.org Wayback Machine to retrieve them, but that is confusing to figure out.

As a librarian, I find this especially frustrating! Could anyone tell me where (for 4 examples) my enormous reviews of the following anthologies disappeared to?

The Garden of Hermetic Dreams edited by Gary Lachman
finished 9/4/18
shelved as read 10/9/18

The Penguin Book Of Ghost Stories edited by J.A. Cuddon
finished 1/20/2018
Shelved as read - 10/12/2

Ghosts edited by Marvin Kaye
finished Apri l6, 2017
review probably posted 06/18/2017

The Mammoth Book of Ghost Stories (aka Phantastic Book of Ghost Stories) edited by Richard Dalby
finished 12/21/2017

If you have switched over to the new beta book page, I would try switching back to the old book page. Otherwise there is nothing librarians can do to help, sorry.

Tapping or clicking the Beta button, and then choosing "leave beta" will return you back to the regular book page.

hmmm - lower right corner on the main Goodreads page (don't see anything), my profile "(don't see anything there either) or on the actual book page (don't see any Beta button there either)? Maybe I'm not in Beta at all?

Still not seeing it -at the very bottom right is "mobile version" or "desktop version" when you toggle. Maybe I'll try the general "help" group and see if they can tell me - I can't reread these enormous books and recompose these enormous reviews

If you are not seeing it that means that the beta version is not available to you. You could try contacting Support (link at the top of this group)
