AmyKatherine1974 (amykay74) | 4 comments (Plot spoilers ahead) I don't remember the name or author of this book I read- or really even the genre beyond adult fiction but it was a real page turner. It was told in multiple POVs and revolved around a family grieving the death of their young son- who ended up running into the street and being hit by a car- but you don't know that at the beginning of the book. There are pov's of the mom, the dead boy, his older sister, the family dog, and others. I remember being particularly pulled in by the chapters that were in the POV of the family dog and his ability to see the dead boy as he wanders around the house observing everyone's grief. Every one of the POV characters blamed themselves partially for the boy's death. I think there may even be some POV chapters from their grief therapist. Problem is I don't remember how long ago I read it but it was definitely in the last 5-8 years I would say. I tried googling it and it keeps coming up as the Curious Incident of the Dog In the Night but that is definitely not this book.
